Hello,

I am having diffuculties with port forwarding through 2 routers. On my PS4 i have currently a NAT Type 3 and I wanna make this at least Type 2. The 1st router is a Cisco, the 2nd one is a Belkin. It's connected like this: Cisco > Belkin > PS4

In the Cisco router (1st) I forwarded all the required ports to the WAN IP address. In this case that's 192.168.178.14. In the Belkin router (2nd) I forwarded all the required ports to the correct static IP address of the PS4, thats 192.168.2.233.

I did a test, i changed the IP addresses in the 2nd router to my PC's static one. I downloaded the tool provided by portforward.com and it seems when I check the TCP ports they all work, but the UDP ones doesnt. I also checked out canyouseeme.org but here none of the ports are working.

I am still having a NAT Type 3 after all this, so I have no clue how to solve this. Could anyone help me out?

My dad bought it, but it interferes with each other. I made the 2nd router an AP, so its works now, I am getting NAT Type 2 on the PS4 and the computers.

Should I plug the ethernet cable from router 1 in the WAN or LAN port of the router 2 btw, becuase both seem to work. I made the AP with the 'Access Point' option in the Belkin.

I would leave it as is if it's in AP mode
