I have bad news for you.

Your Gigabyte AM2 motherboard is 10 years old. It was first released in 2007. That happens to be a few years before the first modern consumer ssd's became readily available.

The SATA headers / connections on your motherboard are not SATA 3 6Gb/s. They are the earlier SATA 2 3Gb/s headers. It is clearly stated in the Gigabyte specifications.

The PCIe headers / connections on your Gigabyte are not PCIe 3.0 capable. The PCIe headers are PCIe 2.0 instead of PCIe 3.0. Again, clearly stated in the specifications.

The motherboard' system BIOS would also need an update. Although there were 15 BIOS updates, the last one was published 7 years ago so there's pretty much no hope of any improvement in ssd compatibility and performance.

On top of all that, during those early pioneering days, AMD motherboards had quite a few ssd compatibility issues.
