Okay so I've never really worked on a computer before and I'm all out of ideas. For some time my computer which I ordered from Cyber Power had been shutting down pretty randomly. I took it to Best Buy and they determined it was the mobo, but wouldn't fix it for me. I order the exact same motherboard I had, the 760gma-p34 fx, and a new power supply just in case (corsair cx 430). I got to work replacing it and finally got it to recognize my hard drive. Now the issue: the whole thing still ends up shutting down almost immediately after being turned on. I can't even have it on long enough to insert the driver disc. The only idea I have is that I didn't apply new thermal paste to the processor, but I am way out of my depth. Any ideas? Thank you
