Looking into a build but I've never built before. Currently I'm sitting at;
i5-7500
GTX 1070 WF
8GB Hyperx Fury Black RAM
Kingston 60GB SATA SSD
Asus DVD drive
Got a few questions with it, first and foremost the motherboard, I want a z170 but I've heard that they dont always support the kaby lake processors, is there any mobo that will fit the needs at a good price? Looking at about a 1400$ budget, and will have to sell my current rig to get the money. So is there a BIOS update that I'll need to get from this computer before upgrading, or is there any other motherboards I could use instead?
Second, Cooling. I'm not overclocking, but if I needed cooling I'd definitely go for a hyper 212 EVO. Heard that the kaby lake cpu's have a good cooler already so will I not need the hyper 212?
PSU and case, is there any special concerns with this build? I assume that 600w will be enough to run it but I want to be sure, and will any old mid tower fit all of this?
Finally the OS. I know that it comes down to mostly preference, but is it worth the extra to get old reliable 7 or should I give in to the new windows 10? I've used both and mainly hate 10 for how difficult it can be to browse my files and computer in general, but I can deal with it if that's the only setback. Are there any performance differences between them?
