Hello,

I know this question had been asked a billion times in this community, but I just can't find the right solution for my one problem. So I'm going to give it a shot.

I've built my pc 3 years ago. Starting two weeks ago, my computer would completely shut off when I turn on a game, dual monitoring, or use more than 4 programs at the same time. Not even two minutes in the game it would shut off and doesn't turn back on. When I press the button to turn my PC back on, it would light up my rig and shut right back off even before anything would show up on the monitor. If I would give it a 10 mins break, it would turn back on with no hiccups. I thought it was my Power Supply. Went to go buy a new PSU, it didn't help. Thought it was my CPU. Removed my cooler, cleaned the CPU, placed new thermal on it and it still shuts off. I checked all my fans, they're all working. I just can't find the solution of why my computer is shutting down. Do I need a whole new motherboard and CPU? Please help. All I wanna do is play Battlefield 1 and do my work.

Thank you!

Solution
It sounds like you've isolated the potential suspects down to your motherboard or RAM. This sounds like your motherboard is having issues. Try and update the BIOS and see if anything is fixed.
