i am planning to buy nvidia quadro M4000 or M2000 PCI (Express 3.0 x16) graphic card and my motherboard is M5A78L-M/USB3 (am3+) it has a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot will it work fine with it or should i get a PCI Express 3.0 x16 supporting motherboard

2.0 x16 is more than enough, hell even x8 is. It will work out just fine. Just make sure you have a quality power supply with the required PCI-E connectors and that it fits in your case.
