CPU coolers that work with Ryzen

Hello, i was wondering if someone could help me with this dilemma? I am familiar with NZXT, CM, Noctua and many others giving free upgrades for Ryzen but what if you want to buy a completely new one, or recommend to people in general, which ones do i have as options.

It would be nice if someone could recommend 2 air and 2 water coolers that are already compatible, having in mind the XFR feature and that it would be used on either 1700x or 1800x. Thanks

Pretty much all air coolers are compatible if you buy an AM4 bracket for them from the manufacturer. Here are some noctua's that work out of the box. http://noctua.at/en/noctua-presents-three-special-edition-am4-cpu-coolers-for-amd-ryzen

If you currently already own an AM3+ cooler such as an AIO system, then you could just DIY your own bracket or modify the current one to hold your cooler on, if done properly wont do any damage or harm. I have a very uncommon AIO cooler system by 1stplayer in the steampunk series which doesn't contain an AM4 bracket. I made my own template of the original AM3+ bracket using paint.net, (don't judge) and printed it out. Every 10 pixels was equal to 1mm. I printed this out on paper and layered it over a piece of sheet metal and just cut it out. With a little bit of sanding and further cutting, it turned out perfect, some black spray paint and it looked better then the original but fit AM4.
