Hi there, the Corsair HD120 RGB fans don't have an option to turn off the RGB lights so I was wondering, for those who do have these fans or generally know, would it be safe to disconnect the controller cable that is connecting to the small box where all the fans are connecting to, to control the lights. I've done this once, lights turned off and fans kept going which is what I wanted, but I feel disconnecting the controller from the small box would over time cause damage? I only turn it off in the blinking mode in slow mode when the lights turn off for about 2 seconds.
