Can I trust this Dell Inspiron i3847-2311BK's power supply?

So a while ago I bought an Inspiron i3847-233BK from Fry's for about $230.

I thought that this was a great deal and when I check the wattage for my power supply, it says maximum 300w output.

I bought a temporary GT 710, but now that I have bought GTA V, I need some more graphics power.

I am thinking about buying the EVGA GTX 1050 SC for $110, but I am afraid that this Dell power supply isn't reliable.

Should I buy a 1050 and risk it?

Because I am on a really tight budget here...

Thanks!

I'll post on this tomorrow to see if my power supply explodes, catches fire, burns down my house, I go into poverty, I become homeless and die on the streets.

Hold up wait a minute

I just found an R9 285 for $91 on Fry's

But it needs 500 watts.

I've heard that if you swap the inspiron 3847 power supply the power button won't work

I need to know if this is true

if this isn't then that means I have found something fantastic
