I need some inputs and thoughts on my PC build idea.

Hello folks!

I have now played with the thought of finally building my first PC. The reason I take it here is because I have so many questions before I start, and I sure know one can go into a lots of traps with lack of knowledge. I am aiming for a dead silence black & white build, with a strong focus on details. I am thinking a black case and black components with white leds, cables and cooling tubes. Some silver details could be pretty too.
My #1 reason to build is for the look, but I would also have a decent result for 4K gaming and 3D designing.

I have set up a list of the main components, though I am open for changes. And I need help with choice of water cooling. Prices are taken now from pcpartpicker.com.

Screen: Samsung UE60KS7005 60" 4K TV
CPU:Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz (338,77$)
Motherboard: MSI Z270 Gaming M7 (244,99$)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz 16CL (324,97$)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB M.2 SSD ($167.88)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB 2.5" SSD ($324.99)
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 EK X ($699.99)
Case: Fractal Design Define C w/window ($84.99)
PSU: Corsair AX760i ($209.99)
Total: $2396,57$

I have the 500GB M.2 already, which I plan to put in the M.2 shield cover.

About the ram, what's the thing about dual or quad channel? 4 sticks still works on a dual, so what makes the difference?
Should I have 2x16GB or 4x8GB? And what is the benefit with higher MHz? 3200 16CL, 3000 15CL and 2800 14CL ends up the same, right?

The PSU needs to be fully modular, and after some more searching I have added RM and HX to the list. I've seen RMx, RMi, HXi and AXi, what's the differences? AXi supports support Corsair Link and Link Commander, do the rest? The motherboard also have functions to control fans and leds, so what should I choose? When it comes to fans/lights control and softwares I have no idea, but I know I want PWM fans.
I have a plan of fixing cables myself, but if someone knows any good pre-made cables in white or white/black I appreciate it.

About water cooling I have been looking at EKWB. The GPU has a EK block pre-mounted. I was thinking dual 240mm radiators w/pumps (or separate) and a small reservoir. I was looking through YouTube to see builds in this case, and I found exactly what I had imagined. Check OC3D TV.
Should I have white or clear tubes, as the liquid will be white?
Since it's SSD only, I will put a pump and reservoir inside the shroud.

A few questions at the end:
The motherboard has MSI Mystic Light sync, do you know if I can change to white?
What fans is the most silent, both 120mm and 140mm?
How do I hook up everything? I am thinking about the PSU's outputs, what cables goes where and how many do I need? Same with fans, leds and pump.

This got long, woah. So many thoughts, I welcome you into my brain!
