2400 cl11 or 1600 cl9 for same price?

Since I will buy some new RAMs, I would like to ask for your opinion, which Ram would be better in my case? My motherboard is Asrock z77 Extreme4, my cpu is Intel i7-2600K. Thanks. :)

Ok, so what does it mean? Even if I buy the 2400Mhz one , my PC won't even boot?

Ok, it seems like it can if I overclock it, mine 2600K is set at 4.4Ghz. I am not sure if it really is able to use 2400Hz, but it seems it is fine up to ~2133 (?) . Though I wasn't able to find a clear answer about it.

And I still haven't got an answer for my original question. :)
