I recently bought a ASUS RT-N18U Wireless router with a wireless adapter, installed it an tried opening youtube. youtube doesnt load it redirects me to the asus setup site an it displays the following;
The network cable is not connected.
●Please ensure that the cable is properly connected between the router's and modem's WAN port.
●If a problem still persists, manually change the connection settings.

How do fix this?

It sounds like you did not run the Asus Router setup that comes on the CD that came with the Router.
The error message indicates the router can not find the internet connection.
If you need to do a manual setup that option is there in the Asus Program.
