I need help choosing the right parts for my pc build.

The build will mainly be for gaming (Dying Light, GTA V, Mafia III, etc) and for video editing at 1080p.

I plant to play on max settings mostly and still keep the 60+ fps If possible.

I have chosen all the components including the graphics card which is a nVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Armor, because it's the only one I can afford.

I am having problems choosing my CPU and Motherboard so far because of prices and OC stability.

Should I get the i5 6600K or an i7 6700K and a Z170 motherboard, like Asus Z170-A?

Or should I go for an i5 7600K or i7 7700K and a Z270 motherboard, which I'm still not sure which?

I personally prefer Asus motherboards but I guess may end a MSI would either be fine, I just want all the components to be fully compatible and to have a good performance while still being able to overclock.

I have been doing some research a came across the following build, but I am still not sure about the processor and motherboard like I said before:

ATX NZXT S340 White - 69,90 €
NOCTUA NF-P14S REDUX 1200RPM 140MM - 14,90 € (2)
MSI GEFORCE® GTX 1060 ARMOR OCV1 6GB GD5 - 299,90 €

MOTHERBOARD ASUS PRIME Z270-A - 177,90 €
CRYORIG H7 - 39,90 €

Total: 1138,59 €

So, keeping in mind that besides gaming I will also need to do some video editing, what do you think is my best option? Should I save some money and buy a 6600K/6700K and a Z170 chipset motherboard or go for the 7600K/7700K and a Z270 chipset motherboard?

Solution
i5-6600K/i7-6700K will need the Z170 chipset motherbaords. Additionally you would beneift from higher frequency ram like 3200MHz.
i5-7600K/i7-7700K will need the Z270 chipset motherboards. Same rule for ram will apply here.

You might want to read through this thread and and pass on the necessary information if you'd like some tweaking to your build(and possible ironing out) or pass a budget and a link from where you are purchasing the parts from from.
