Hi. I want to run my memory at 2400, but enabling xmp-profile does not work. I've also tried to manually set the multiplier to 16, 18, 21, 24. But none of the alternatives will boot at all.
I've looked around quite a bit for a solution to my problem and cannot find one. It seams that the easy "enable xmp"-fix worked for most people.
Im running:
Gigabyte z97x Gaming3
I7-4790k (4Ghz, it's stock with stock cooler)
Corsair vengeance PRO Red 2400mhz CL9 CMY16G
geforce 970
