Ok, so i know this cpu is a little outdated but its all have to work with right now. I currently have a gigabyte ga-770ta-ud3 motherboard and an arctic freezer 7 pro cooler. for ram i have 8gb(4x2) of corsair vengeance ddr3 1600. Im new to pc builds so im not familiar with overclocking at all. think anyone could help?

Problem is the 1055t is a locked processor, or back then its not the Black Edition. So you can only overclocked threw the bus.

Unfortunately overclocking the bus will overclock everything else, so it takes a little more work than what it would with an unlocked or Black Edition CPU.

For that motherboard, I do not recommend voltages more than 1.4v on the CPU since it has no cooling on the VRM area, you could mess up the board at that point as temps will start to skyrocket with the 6 core.
