So I have an Asus Z170 with a I5 Kaby Lake 3Ghz. I flashed the mobo with an older CPU and it POSTs with the newer gen 7 LGA 1151. The problem I am having is I want to setup a RAID 0 config. I can do that in the BIOS and it recognizes the two identical 500GB as one tb.

I made a USB bootable thumb drive from my Windows 7 disk. I also copied the RAID drivers from the disk as a separate folder. I get the warning message that the drivers are'nt signed during windows install. When you click next it goes to the drive screen where the single 1TB is listed. I have deleted and added a new partition and formatted it, it states that windows cannot be installed on this partition that the hardware is not enabled.

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's bios menu.
