Hello, I recently acquired some old pc parts from my friend, Motherboard, RAM, CPU to be specific, he said that they're old and some may not work, I know for sure the RAM works as i tested this in my current PC. I plug all of this in and attach my old windows 7 hardrive from my current computer. I boot the pc, it goes through everything up until windows 7 is loading then it will freeze, blue screen and restart. It will keep on doing this until i shut the power down. So my question is which component is faulty or have I not done something to my hardrive to make it compatible with the new hardware?

New parts are:
Motherboard : GA-Z68XP-UD3P
CPU: Intel Core I5 (not sure about the number)
RAM: Kingston Hyper-X 8GB kit
