Hello Everyone,
Ok so I currently have the 8gb (2x4gb) set of Ripjaws X DDR3 (1600mHz) ram. I purchased this ram a year or so ago and have sort of outgrown it. I am looking to raise to 16gb of ram, however as I am on a budget I would like to just add another 8gb of ram as I have already 8. My motherboard is capable of doing so because it has quad channel ram (4 slots). The specific ram I have is the blue set of the ripjaws. However when I look on the G skill website there are 2 different version's of the blue ones and I am not 100% sure of the exact one I have.
Here are the links -

So my question is if I end up getting one of these 8gb kits (the above ones) will it matter which one I get or will I need to make sure they 100% match or I will get problems. Or is it just best to be safe and buy a whole new set of 16gb of ram?
Also they say dual channel on the specifications, will this also be a problem running 4 sticks of ram in quad?
Thanks
