Is it possible to have gtx 1080 in SLI with gtx 1080 TI?? I like to have this new TI graphic card but i need to know if it can sli with my evga gtx 1080 SC.

Solution
No, they are different gpu's with different vram size. It is not compaitible.
You might want to read this from Nvidia first before going with SLI. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/469402/
specifically on "All graphics cards must have the same GPU"
1080 is GP104-400-A1 at 6gb
1080ti is GP102-350-A1 at 11gb

So this GC is pointless to me and no one should buy it till the next mayor release?? Ti has just some minor improvements.

So this card is pointless then, better to wait for the next mayor release.

Not necessarily pointless. It is pointless if you already have a 1080, but other people have lower cards and want to upgrade, it is a better option than the 1080 as it pars with the TITAN X Pascal, but cheaper.
