Is it possible to have gtx 1080 in SLI with gtx 1080 TI?? I like to have this new TI graphic card but i need to know if it can sli with my evga gtx 1080 SC.
No, they are different gpu's with different vram size. It is not compaitible.

Not necessarily pointless. It is pointless if you already have a 1080, but other people have lower cards and want to upgrade, it is a better option than the 1080 as it pars with the TITAN X Pascal, but cheaper.
