hi everyone, i've got an issue with my coolermaster seidon 120xl

yesterday, when i put the WC for the first time, it show 33 degree in average

then, i remove the WC for a little bit to place mobo cover
i clean thermal paste only with tissue on both WC and cpu

after that, i install the WC again, but shows 39-40 on average, whats wrong?

you can clean it however you want. It's not important.
A few particles of the old thermal paste will not change anything.
The use of alcohol is just to ease the complete removal of old materials as well as oils from your hands (if you touched it).
Practically, if you don't use liquid metal as your thermal paste, it's not necessary.

i mount it totally the same, with same amount of thermal paste
but, i only clean the WC only with tissue , not with alcohol
is that can make the surface get bad?

excuse me, i mean if i clean only with tissue, the surface of WC may be rubbed
is that can be happen?
