I want to place 4 fans inside my new case which im going to buy which is the Corsair 460x Case.
Will i be able to connect 4 fans to my motherboard? (unexperienced pc guy)

(tried to look at my motherboard details, but simply can't find any specific how many pins available for fans.)

This is my motherboard.
MSI H97 GAMING 3, Socket-1150
These are the fans i want in the new case.

There are a total of 5 fan headers with 4 pins on your motherboard,

in essence I assume true PWM support is only available on 2 of those 5, namely the CPU_FAN1 and CPU_FAN2 fan header. If the fans you're buying are PWM variants, then you can pick up a fan hub like this and have them run off the CPU fan headers while all the fans in your case are connected to the fan hub, though mind you, the fans you're talking about are RGB which means that they will have a control box which means that the fans will rotate at a given instruction fed from the control box.

The manual also states that you'll need to connect both the fans 3 pin cable to the motherboard and the control box for the fans to work optimally.

In short, 4xCorsiar SP120RGB fans, yes. You just need to make sure all 4 fans have the 3 pin headers being populated by 4 of those fans while the other end is connecting to the control box. The CPU fan header will obviously be populated with the CPU cooler's fan so the rest 4 are at your disposal.

From https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H97-GAMING-3.html#hero-specification
Internal I/O Connectors:
-3 x 4-pin system fan connectors
This tells me im only gonna be able to connect 3 fans if i am right? how come you say i can connect 4?

your "in short" is a bit confusing to me when you talk about cpu headers and fan headers which is confusing me. im not that "Techy" if you can explain it more easier it would be appreciated.
