time to remove all those nifty apps you have loaded on there, remove all apps you don't need and get more space. also depending on the tablet, some (like Samsung) permit you to use an ssd to increase the memory capacity of your tablet up to 128GB

Let's give 3GB to android, that's 13.
Give 3GB to apps, that is 10.
3GB to photos and music, that's 7.
You should have plenty of space, what is the model of the tablet?
