AMD R9 390 Problem (loud fans and squeaky noise on headset)

Hey guys,
I just installed my new AMD R9 390, downloaded the Windows 10 64 bit drivers, ran the amd cleaning utility to get rid of my old catalyst and then went ahead and installed the drivers.

Problem now is, the card is extremely loud, even in standby on the desktop.

Also, I'm using my Roccat Cave headset and whenever I move my mouse on the desktop it's making a squeeking noise. Issue gets worse when I boot up a game. Is that a driver issue? Or what could it be?

Solution
What you're experiencing is EMI (electromagnetic interference), basically your onboard sound chipset is "capturing" the electromagnetic disturbances the GPU is generating, that's why you get that noise when you move your mouse and a higher amount of it while gaming (when the GPU has more load).

This is quite a common issue that is hard to solve, if there is dust accumulated inside your case cleaning it could make this problem go away. Otherwise its a faulty GPU (its chipset not shielded properly) so if you can return it now go ahead.

An alternative is to move the GPU away from the onboard sound chipset, but that's not always an option depending your mobo's PCI-E ports.

As for the GPU fans running loudly it could be some messed up fan...

Squeaky as in the noise from the GPU(back of it or the cooler side)? Or are you talking about the noise coming through your headphones(audio output)? What is your current system's specs and your specs prior? To me it reads like you've got coil whine or the symptom of white noise over your audio output.

Nono, Squeaky as in, it's on the headphones.
On the Desktop I can only notice it if I move the mouse. Inside the Games it's more like a constant low tone.
Speakers don't have the issue as far as I can tell, then again, the fans are making a bunch of noise.
I just re-installed again, let it sit on windows login, it's moderately quiet. Then as soon as I log in, it goes up a bunch. Really weird. Anyway!

Specs:

AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor
AMD Radeon (TM) R9 390 Series
12 GB RAM
Bequiet! Dark Power Pro 750W PSU
Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 Mainboard
Roccat Kave 5.1 Surround Headset

I'm using the Onboard Sound, which worked well so far.
I didn't really switch anything, besides the Graphicscard. Old card was a Sapphire 5870

As for the GPU fans running loudly it could be some messed up fan profile or something in your OS that loads in your account using the GPU causing it to spin up, you can check its usage in task manager or with GPU-Z.
