So i'm planning to build my PC for school and gaming. I already found some things but im not sure if this is good. I hope you guys can improve my list.

MB + CPU - To keep costs down and get into an i3, look toward prior gen.
CPU COOLER - Not needed. The stock Intel cooler will be fine.
STORAGE - Skip the HD in a portable unit and just go with solid state storage that doesn't mind being knocked around a little. Look toward an external drive for long term storage. ...and bump the SSD size up. 120GB is pretty small.
GPU - The GTX 1060 6GB will outpace the RX 470 by a good margin for not much more cost.
