HP ML110 g4 server, windows 2003, Raid 1 with 2 drives, mother board failed, replace with like board, won't boot in raid mode, but each drive will boot when bios is set to non raid. Drive say Simple volume. Must I re-create the raid and loose all the data and reload operating software?

If you previously had your BIOS set to AHCI it should still boot after switching to RAID mode. However if you had it set to IDE mode, you'll need to make a registry edit to prevent getting a BSOD on boot. Here's a guide to make the registry change: https://www.data-medics.com/data-recovery-blog/how-to-enable-ahci-after-installing-windows/

For RAID 1 you can erase 1 dirve, and re-setup the array and let it rebuild.

On your old motherbaord where you running raid 1 as a hardware raid (motherboard bios) or software raid?
Is the hard drives connected direct to th emotherboard or its own raid card?

FYI: I hope you are also running a backup. RAID 1 is a mirror (so a copy). A copy means that if data gets deleted or corupted then you now have an exact copy of the same screwed up data on the other drive. The ONLY thing RAID 1 protects you from is a hard drive failure.
Now it is still standard to have server OS on RAID 1 but also make backups to another set of discs.

The raid 1 was setup in the bios, and the drives are connected to the sata 1 and 2 ports on the mother board. If I change Advancd-Advance chipset control-sata controller mode to compatible either drive will boot and Raid is not available, when I change sata controller mode to enhanced, I have 2 options, Sata Raid= enable/disable and Sata ahci= enable/disable. When I enable Sata raid, sata Ahci goes away.
Second , booth drives are identical with the same data and both will boot. I also do have a 3rd drive that was cloned from one of the drives, so I have 3 drives with all the same data that will boot in non-Raid mode.
I need to know how to get the 2 raid drives to boot, as when I set Sata Raid to enable, I get a bosd error as soon as the windows 2003 logo comes up, and goes to reboot.
