Hello.
I recently splashed out some cash on a computer that I built myself. Main parts are gigabyte gtx 1060 windforce oc, an i5 7600k, 8gb of ram and a MSI z270 PC mate motherboard.
I play CS:GO frequently but I have been monitoring the frame rate and the frame rate can vary from 300-120 FPS at 1080p. This frame rate is pretty much the same with almost every resolution e.g. 1080p all the way down below 720p. I even tried 4k with nvidias super resolution tool and I get almost the same trend ~230-120 (can dip to around 90 at very short times which I understand).
By no means does the game feel unplayable or stuttery but it's just odd that it seems like there is a CPU bottleneck stoping the card from being at it's full potential. Could it possibly be a driver issue since the i5 was only just released to the public a few months ago. I've monitored temps and they never go above 65°c and I've even noticed the gtx 1060 reach 1856mhz.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
