I "built" a PC a couple months ago (pre-built put into a new case with some different RAM, SSD, etc) It has two RX - 480's in it. The MOBO I have has two PCIe 3.0 x 16 slots, with one wired as a x4 (ASUS Z-170P). Both cards are being recognized by the AMD Radeon settings under the "System" selection.
Here is the problem, the "Primary" card is running off the PCIe x4 slot, and the "Linked" card is running off the PCIe x16 slot. Can I fix this? Does it matter?
Planning on an upgrade to a single Vega card when they release, but until then I would like to get this thing running correctly.
