Problem on overclocking asus gtx 1050 2gb

Recently I have bought a new Asus gtx 1050 2gb dual and paired it with fx6300 and 8 gigs of ddr4.But the problem is that I can't overclock my GPU.When I overclock my GPU using evga precision x or msi afterburner...my system becomes unstable and when I open any game like GTA 5 or watch dogs 2...nvidia says that it has stopped working and has recovevered.This issue never comes up when i play using my stock GPU and i get impressive 50-60 fps in both the games at highest settings.PLZ HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE....I WANNA OVERCLOCK MY GPU.

If your system is not stable with an overclock, you could be trying to overclock it too much, it's overheating or you have a low quality power supply that can't run the card properly. Need more details about the system, including how much you are trying to overclock it.

Trying to keep overclocking the card when it's crashing will only lead to a dead video card.
