When I use Fraps to record games, it will drop my fps to low 20's in a game like Minecraft and a stuttering [CENSORED] show of 50-60fps on Black Ops 3. I don't understand why it's doing this especially when I have a GTX 1080 that can play these game 100fps+ without VSync or Fps Sync. A fix would be nice but I also wouldn't mind a explanation of why it's doing this.
