I'm trying to find the correct value for my Ref GTX 780 Ti as I'm selling it to a close friend of mine. I was thinking about £125 does that seem like the correct value for the GPU, it's in good working condition, never been OC'd or modified and has the stock fans. I've searched various sites and can't seem to find any rough prices others are selling them for.

cheers in advance!

I look to online classifieds and ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=780+Ti&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc can give you a general idea. That shows the sold listings only.

Ah, I was certainly around the right ballpark then. I don't use Ebay often thanks for the answer!

One way to find out the value of your GPU is to see what it's costing on Ebay for a good unit, you can then mark up or down your price. If it's in pristine condition, you could ask for more since I now a couple of folks in my circles who actually take very good care of their components which are as good as buying brand new from the store.

If you went with the formula for depreciation, you'd be left with pocket change, mind you.

Another thing to note/compare is, what will 125 quid get you in this day and age in terms of a GTX1000 series GPU? :)

You're welcome:)

I already have an Asus GTX 1080 Strix, so I'm certainly not in the market for another GPU. The 780 Ti is just sitting in a box in an anti-static bag, so it be good to see it go to use. But you're right, if I used the depreciation value it wouldn't be worth much. Also, I don't mind undercutting myself a little bit, I'm one of the best men for his wedding so bloodshed at the altar may not be the best of plans.
