Hi,
I believe i am having some problems with my new Ryzen and I really dont know what to do. I left everything to the default settings, I did not overclock by myself or anything. HWiNFO64 and CPu-Z both give me a core VID of 1,55V? Isnt that way too high? Also my temperatures seem to be a little high, it is idling around 60°C and goes to 90°C under load (according to Ryzen Master).
I am using the Asus Prime B350 Plus with the newest 0503 bios.
I tried setting the BIOS to the default settings in case i accidentally changed something, but that did not change anything.

Solution
If you cant tweak the voltage down, tweak the clock up!! :)

Your temperatures are very good at 1.55V tho
Stress Test with 20 runs of IBT AVX High.

I have the exact same problem at the moment, same Mobo and Cpu, didnt even touch anything OC related. You found a solution yet?

1.55v VID is normal. Your actual Vcore will be lower.

And there is a temperature offset with 1700X and 1800X CPUs -- the temps are reading 20°C higher than the actual temp. AMD did that so that your fans would run faster so that the XFR (automatic CPU overclocking) would be able to kick in more often and for a longer time.

I'm facing a similar issue. My 1700X is idling at 55-70 on ryzen master with core voltages at 1.2-1.45 V with xfr enabled by default.
My motherboard- gigabyte b350 gaming 3
cooler- masterliquid lite 120 AIO
I see many users of 1700x and 1800x reporting same issues even by using very good coolers like h100i or noctua d15s' so i think amd has to fix this bug soon by an update or something or else many would RMA their chips right away.
P.S. my xfr is working fine
