Hello, I'll try to give as much detail as possible.

Specs:

MoBo: Asus Maximus VI Hero
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x4gb 1600 mhz ddr3
PSU: EVGA Supernova Nex 650g
Cooler: Corsair H100i
GPU: Asus GTX 980 Strix
SSD: Adata 120 Gb (Windows 8.1) Previously: Kingston HyperX 3k 120gb (Windows 10)
HDD: Toshiba 2Tb internal (can't recall the model)

My pc restarts randomly, sometimes it doesn't even get to the desktop and sometimes I use it for hours before it restarts. I´m not doing anything in particular when it happens, I may be running a game or just listening to music with no other programs running when it suddenly turns off and restarts.

So, the first time this ever happened was about a year ago with the exact same symptoms. I had it happen for about a week before I took my pc to a technician. He checked it (i wasn't there when he did) and said he couldn't find any problems, he even said that he had the pc running for a whole day without anything happening. I took it back home and plugged it and used it normally. I didn't have any issues with it for around 11 months.

About 2 weeks ago, there was a black out on my street that damaged my psu, so I took it to a technician to have it fixed. He ran some tests on it and it worked perfectly fine. I connected the thing to my PC and I it worked perfectly for a couple of days until it started restarting randomly again like it did the first time.

Since the beginning I had been running the OS on my Kingston SSD, but I gave it to my brother when my PC began restarting again. I then bought an Adata SSD and I tried to install Windows 10 on it with a USB, but the PC keeps restarting during the installation.

I hope someone in here has any idea on what could be the problem.
