I am buying a new internal hard drive...If my internal hard drive new or old die somehow...will it damage my other components such gpu, ram etc....?

Solution
Not usually. The only time that I know of that something like that can happen, is when the Power Supply fails. Sometimes a failed PS will take out other components in the system. I've never in 20 years heard of a HD taking other components out with it.

haven't see it happen

only way i could think it could happen is that the hard disk itself causes a electrical problem, sometimes a refurbished hard disk can present weird results, a new one, i can't think of a hazzard like that or expereienced one on my pcs

Previous year I had a system failure in which all my components fried except the RAM. I think it was the power failure. But it's not likely that a hard drive fails it will take away other components too.
