S.M.A.R.T error on startup, but nowhere else

Hi! Every time that I restart my laptop, I get the message, "S.M.A.R.T. disk error. Press F1 to continue". I press f1 and my computer sometimes loads, sometimes it loads on my second reboot, or sometimes it doesn't give me the SMART screen, it just takes me directly to the BIOS!

I've tried:
chksdk,
HD Tune pro,
Seagate Seatools,
Crystal Disk Info,
Windows Memory Diagnostic,
and Windows error checking (this found a database corruption and fixed it, I ran it again and it didn't find any errors. I haven't restarted my computer ever since that fix. I only continue putting it to sleep, load it and continue working with it without a problem).

All these tools report that there's NO errors on my disk

The only way I know that my HDD might have a SMART error is that Windows tells me this whenever I restart my computer. I haven't restarted my laptop after the database corruption fix.

This started happening after a Windows update; however, I dropped my laptop while it was turned on in November and I received the BSOD on that occasion.

The only thing that may be off is a lose cable according to HD Tune (attached picture)
I opened my laptop to see if my cable became lose in November. The HDD is sealed tight.

Solution
It could be a defective cable or power to the HD is fluctuating. It could be the hard drive is having early failure symptoms. The CRC errors by themselves are harmless but the fact they are increasing you do have something occurring that isn't normal.

Make sure you have a good backup practice so if the drive does fail you don't loose much if anything. Of course this goes without saying everyone should be doing this if they care about what is on there computer however I find most people overlook backups until its to late.
You may have an issue seeing the 262 under data for the interface error count. Can you check this over the next couple of days and see if it changes that will indicate an issue if it is changing. This could be old from say dropping the laptop etc while it was running like you mentioned. The error counts don't reset but should stay static if everything is working correctly.

It increased after I restarted my laptop last night. Now it's 270; however, now I don't see the SMART alert when I reboot, lol.

Could this be a miscommunication between my MOBO and HDD caused by a defective cable?
My laptop runs very fast and the HDD has no damage. Interface CRC Errors are harmless, right?

It just turned to 273! Nothing out of the ordinary happened from 270 to 273. I've been using my computer all day. I've already backed up my data. Will the attention "!" become a warning sign before it's determined that my HDD is going bad or can I simply assume my HDD is fried and I should go buy a new one this weekend?

How can I troubleshoot the other 2 steps? Is there a picture of the specific cable I'm supposed to troubleshoot?

If I need to buy a new one, do I also have to buy Windows or can I transfer my version of Windows from my current HDD? My current HDD is the stock HDD that came when I purchased the laptop.

how to up load

Post-mortem:
I discovered that the DVD-player has this frame that connects the DVD-player and the HDD.
When my computer fell last year, the DVD-player became lose and with was dragging with it the HDD.
I removed the frame that kept both attached.

Now my computer NEVER shows me any startup error.
My computer is fine! Whoever built this laptop seemed like he or she didn't want anyone to upgrade it and disassemble it.
