My main router uses 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.2.252, which IP should I use for the secondary router that I want to connect to extend the wifi range? I tried a few different but none of them worked so far.

Solution
2.2 could be used though and create a conflict. You need the 2nd router to be outside of the address pool. Also you can't use the same SSID, you need a true repeater for that. best case is give it another name and connect to that

Thank you for the quick answer.
I have done that but it does not work. Maybe I explained myself wrong; I don't really have a clue in IT questions.

The main router uses IP address 192.168.2.254 and Address Pool Start IP 192.168.2.1 and Address Pool End IP 192.168.2.252.
I have set the secondary router to 192.168.2.2 with the same SSID and password, DHCP disabled. It is connected to the main router via ethernet.
