I will be building a new gaming computer based around the 1080 ti (in link down below there is a 1080 for reference but i will be getting the 1080 ti founders edition). My budget is $1,500 and i want this to be the best computer it can be for the price. Please let me know any alterations that may be made to increase performance in this without going to far over the $1,500 budget ($100 over max [I'm 15 and paying for this with the money i got from working]). Well, enough rambling, this is the build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MmXrLD. Any question comments or concerns ask away and i will gladly respond!

You already own the i7 4790 and it's a very relevant cpu imo. What resolution for gaming?

Not sure how I feel about buying older hardware to match an older processor. If this were me I'd sell the older processor and buy latest get stuff if I was already spending this much money. I'd also try and figure out a way to get a m.2 NVME SSD instead of sata... This is not to say this would be a bad build...
