• EVGA supernova G3 1000
• EVGA supernova P2 1000
• Corsair AX860i
ignoring cost

Are you sure the G3 is better than the P2 since the P2 does have platinum efficiency? I know you said they are all first rate, but I am having trouble picking between the 3 and I really want to choose the best :)

Honestly mate as blackbird has already said - they're all such good quality units that the only real way to seperate them is on price - because I certainly wouldn't pay $30-40 extra for one over the other .

The g3 will hit platinum efficiency about 90% of the time that the p2 will (like the g2 before it) which is why the g2 was always pretty much the goto supply for many many quality system builders.
The saving grace qaa the p2 had a 10 year warranty, the g2 had a 7.
The new g3 also has a 10 year warranty so if its cheaper than the p2 its a better choice.

I know you said price is unimportant but it's the only realistic way to seperate them.

Is the seasonic prime significantly better than the evga supernova g3 or is it again just a matter of them being so similar only price comparisons can show any real difference?

Thxs for your help. I'm going to get the supernova G3 since it is cheaper and compact to fit inside my case and i am assuming that just because it is so compact, it doesn't compromise on quality :)
