Hey all,
I'm having an issue with H1Z1. FPS is great outside of cities, but once I'm in the cities it dips down below 60.
PC Build:
MB - Gigabyte 970a D3Sp
Ram - GSkill Ripjaws 8gb
GPU - GTX 1050ti 4gb GDDR5
CPU - AMD FX-8320
PSU - EVGA 500w white (or standard)

A large majority of my games run high settings if not some on ultra @ 1080p 60fps solid. This game is so fun but when I hit cities it dips instantly or even look towards them while getting close. I've tried all guides and switches the user options but no luck. Any ideas? My friend has a similar build to mine, but he plays fine. His cpu is the fx-8300 if that changes anything.

Thanks to anyone that can help solve some issues or even see some hardware compatibility issues :)

Wow I never thought about that. Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely give that a shot! Sp basically in game, just set my region from North America to another one, and then back again?

Thanks so much for a possible fix, I'll try that in a few minutes!

Unfortunately, this didn't solve the frame drops in the cities :(

Well that helped me and a lot of friends too. You just need to switch to Europe and then back to North America again if you are playing in NA but you need to do it every time you open the game.

You can also try lowering graphics and render distance. I set mine at 500 when I'm in the cities. You can simply change that whenever you want with the brackets on your keyboard. And last thing you can do that will help for sure is to change your resolution. A lot of players are playing with lower resolution and they have a better PC too. You could try 1600x900 or 1366x768 which are 16:9 resolutions or even 1440x900 but this one is 16:10 resolution so it will look a bit stretched if you are using a 16:9 monitor.

I always play with my render as 500 no matter where I am, besides parachuting down so I can see where I am lol. But yeah I've tried 900p and 720p but it didn't really do anything for me. I really don't know what the cause of this is. I feel like my build is strong enough to play this without issues as it plays other games like Battlefield 4 on ultra 60+ fps. I've uninstalled the game a couple of times as well :(

Well this game is not optimised that's why we all get these fps. All you can do to get at least a little bit of performance boost is everything I told you above. Besides that , we need to wait till the game is fixed.
