Hello, first time poster and PC builder here.

I am upgrading a workstation of mine into a gaming computer and bought two parts, one of them being a EVGA 1050 Ti SC 4gb graphics card.

On the day of installation I followed the pre-packed instructions and went to the disc with the built-in driver software. I installed the drivers and no more than 2 seconds afterwards I get a BSOD with a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. Rebooting the system and going to the desktop everything seemed fine, the drivers were recognized. I launched into a game of Overwatch and after playing for ten minutes, closing, and returning to the desktop, I get another BSOD. Same error.

I then tried to manually uninstall the drivers and BSOD.

Re-installing the drivers gave a BSOD.

Using the DDU tool from 3DGURU gave a BSOD.

Tried manually uninstalling in safe mode to no avail.

I have used the system before this and have experienced zero issues ever. Also using the PC w/o the card produces, again, no issues whatsoever in any areas. I am positive this is a graphics card issue.

If there is anything anybody can help with, I would be more than appreciative. The last thing I want is to have to return the card and waste another week waiting for the new one to come in.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit on a Dell Optiplex 3010. Any other specs needed please ask and I can give.

EDIT: I should also mention I bought and installed a new PSU first, a CX430. This supply should be more than enough to power the card, though.

Solution
I have resolved this problem myself. I will leave this answer here in case someone comes snooping through these boards later for an answer.

1. Uninstall GPU
2. Download DDU and the latest working NVIDIA drivers
2b. Disable Antivirus
3. Boot into Safe Mode and delete all installed NVIDIA Drivers using DDU
4. Restart and re-boot into Safe Mode
5a. Using disc packed in with GPU, download periphery programs and latest directx (EVGA OC Scanner X in my case)
5b. Download drivers using the newest version you downloaded off NVIDIA's website.
6. Reboot into normal startup and re-enable antivirus

After this no Blue Screen issues at all!
