Need some help for purchasing a graphic card for my pc

Need some help with this as im not to shure about it and its power consumtion
im planing to buy this
Palit nVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB GDDR5

My system specs
Athlon II X2 240 @ 2.8 Ghz
4 Gb ram ddr2
ECS geforce 6100PM-M2 mobo
Psu intex accopia IT-25F2 500W (it doesnt have any 6 pin connectors)
So i was wondering maybe if i can undercolck it to reduce power consumption and not buy anther psu as im on a budget

The GPU you've named needs around 450 W of power to run. your cpu requires around 65 w.
I understand your on a budget but to play it safe you may want to invest in a new PSU I'll link mine below and you can see what you think.

I might well be but I've never experienced under clocking a GPU.
What are you using the PC for because you may be able to get away with not using a GPU at all?

i need it to add a 2nd screen for office tasks , programing and a bit gaming (mostly old games like counter strike 1.6 , and cod mw2 )
