Failed to delete files on android marshmellow

Hi i have samsung galaxy tab s8.4, android version 6.0.1 and baseband version T705DDU1CPK1
whenever i try to delete something from my sd card it shows "failed to delete" i am never able to delete anything from my sd card through file manager or anything can somebody help me?

How old is your SD card? Are you able to delete files from internal storage? Do you always add some files in it and delete some files?

SD cards has a maximum lifespan of 10000 read/write. So, SD cards are not for forever. They will die some day. One of my friend has this same problem in his SD card. He changed his SD card with a new one. Hope this helped.

Its less then one year old and whenever i connect that sd card with card reader and delete files i face no issue but through my tablet it never allows me to delete
