I'm currently building a computer, primarily for gaming. I was told that 8GB is good enough so I bought one stick of HyperX Fury DDR4 RAM at 8GB with 2400MHz. Is this okay, or do I need 2 sticks? I did not realise this may be an issue until now and I have already ordered and received, and therefore I don't want to go out and buy another one as the first was already £60+ excluding P&P.

Solution
Two stick kit gives better performance then one stick. But the difference in most uses is not big enough to worry about it.

Two sticks would make a difference of up to 33% more frames per second in most games, and bring up baseline fps and overall stability.

Don't fall for the one stick fad. That's all it is is a fad.

I'd also go so far as to say a 30-40% increase in load speed and anything effected by ram read/write. Look at the chart and see the differences.
