Some Powerline Adapters

Solution
I've installed dozens of set of the newer AV1200 models and they work quite well if you don't have a large motor close to the outlet where the units attach. A short extension cord (4-6 ft) will attenuate interference from things like floor fans quite effectively in my experience.

THIS site is a reliable comparison between units, but I've tried pretty much all of the AV1200 and they all consistently provide low latency and adequate bandwidth if your wiring is not over 30 or so years old. Most will get 100-250Mbps, which is substantially better than older AV2 models that barely get 20Mbps.

And any AV1200 powerline set will far outperform wireless for gaming. Of course, if at all possible the best choice is a cable but...
Powerline adapter's I've found really come down to how good your house wiring is. Crappy wiring and no adapter can make it good. On the same circuit as the fridge, no adapter can make that better. It will suck.

Never had a good expereience with any.
