My pc has a Core i5-2310 installed on the Intel DH61 mobo and the ram im willing to get is the Samsung 2x4gb DDR3L ram 1600/9.
and i quote
"Supports 1.2 V – 1.8 V DIMM memory voltage"
so yeah it should support DDR3L but may i ask why you wanna buy that specific ram and not just normal DDR3? Did you get a good price?

Yes actually. I'm buying it used. Also, my Inspiron desktop came preinstalled with a dual channel kit from Samsung, which has been working just fine from the last 6 years. So I thought going for Samsung again would be the best upgrade for my system. Regardless of Ddr3 or ddr3L because L is considered even better in case I get a L model. However, it seems like sandy bridge processors were made to run at 1.5V only
