I want to use one pc as two different desktops
My pc specs:-
i5 2400
6gb ram
2hard disks (1 tb and 500gb)
Nvidia gt 210 gpu
I was hoping to use some sort of vm or something my gt 210 giving output to one display and integrated graphics to another. I would use the pc using two mice and keyboards. I wish to use the pcs for light gaming l4d, cs source, etc. Is it possible? What softwares would be needed??

There is definitely overhead to virtualization though. The hypervisor needs to use up actual cycles to schedule all kinds of stuff between the VMs. and virtualization software that can do 3D acceleration isn't really cheap. You'd be much better off either building 2 PCs or upgrading your existing one (building 2 PCs is probably a better choice if you want to play games on both)

I'm thinking what you want to do is not possible, but I also don't understand the use case. Why do you need the PC to act as two separate PCs? To play two different sessions of the same game at the same time? That probably won't work with the low powered gear you have. That might be possible, if you had a much more powerful computer, where you could run two Windows VMs but I don't know how 3D acceleration would work there.

I just wanted to do it for fun but one use case could be lan gaming. Besides if it was possible to create two vms without any overhead the system would act like two second gen pentiums each with 3 gigs of ram one with integrated graphics another with a gt210 . Both capable of handling l4d at 720p with 40-45 fps.But as you said it may not be possible.
