It might be that one of your components is overheating. Download the program HWmonitor. And check the heat of your components while gaming. If you can't figure it out just reply a screenshot and I'll check.
I don't think any games will corrupt your windows at all : P.
Your CPU and GPU are not so good so it's probably just that it can't handle the graphics.
