does connecting only one 6 pin connector on gtx560 going to destroy my card?

Solution

with that amount of money i would prefer you look around at possibly used but trusted psu's, like a second hand fsp psu's should do it, never ever short out on a psu, i'd rather go used with a trusted brand rather new on well... crap brands

no

but it also wont work well if at all

and it might pop your power supply since it is likely crap if it doesnt have the required cables

Think of it this way. Someone leaves their car lights on. They turn the key and look to the battery info. It says 6V. Anything less than 12V and your car will have less of a chance at starting. At only 6V your car probably won't start. Your card is asking for an extra 150W. Each 6 pin connector offers up to an additional 75W of power. You are considering only offering the card 75W. Very bad idea.

My recommendation? DON'T try it. Oh it might work..... No. Don't try it.

You need two free 4 pin molex connectors to attach to a molex to PCIe adapter. It's not a good option but it can work. Without knowing which PSU you have I can't recommend that route. Apart from raw power it also needs the right amp rating on the +12V rail(s).

I have powerlogic 800w with only one pcie 6 pin connector

You should be fine with that. It has more than enough power for your card's needs. HOWEVER, like I said the +12V's amp rating is also important. Let's go back to the car. I notice my blinkers aren't working. I check the fuse box. I locate the fuse and see that little metal band is burned. I look at the end and see 30A. I have a 20A fuse handy so I use that. I go out and I am on my way home. I get pulled over by a police officer. You turned without signalling. I signaled officer. See, look. I just changed out this bad fuse for my blinker.

The guy used a weak fuse and it blew within a short period of time. The 560 needs the +12A rail to be rated at 30A, coincidentally enough... You probably have a quad rail design. I've not a clue about Indonesia's market nor about that particular PSU. I can't find reviews or exact tech. specs..

SHORT answer? I would be comfortable using a dual molex to PCIe adapter with the 560 and that PSU.

this in fact NOT a true "800w" psu

powerlogic is utter trash, known for hugely overstating their power supply's actual wattage

they blow up when put under stress

replace it with a proper psu before you do anything
