I have been using a Corsair CX600M since I got my PC in 2014, and it's been fine, even though I noticed a flittering noise coming from the fan from the very beginning, but didn't think I could do much about it.
Now the PSU fan is making a noise that sounds like an old-fashioned HDD, and I'm in the market for a new one.
The worst part is, I find out the Corsair CX series is utter crap, and everywhere I go, every potential PSU for under £60 is utter crap. The thing is, I have no choice.
I tried a modular system as I figured it would cut down on cables and they were interchangeable, but I find out now this is nowhere near the case.
So can someone please recommend a PSU that can power my Geforce GTX 960 for under £60? Preferably quiet fan?
