I can't maintain stable 60 fps at 1080p while according to Nvidia guide I can get 50-60 fps even at 2k resolution.
I have tried running it in borderless window mode (using steam) and my performance is better than before with Vsync ON (in game) but still it drops to below 40 fps in certain areas of the game.
I don't think my GPU can't handle the game even at 1080p.
I have the latest drivers installed.
Also I noticed my CPU reaching above 80 degree celsius while gaming.
Could that be the issue?
My PC rig:
CPU: Intel i5 3570 (with stock cooler)
GPU: Zotac Nvidia GTX 980 Amp edition
Motherboard: Intel DH77KC
Ram: 16 GB
Power Supply: Corsair RM750x
