Would Overclocking Be Better with a Better Mobo?

I've got myself a [delidded] 4770K that's overclocked at 4.4 GHz. But I need at least 1.3v to achieve this OC. I can boot my CPU on 4.5 GHz but it won't be able to do anything CPU heavy tasks, it would just crash. My CPU cooler is the NH-D15, so I've got a beefy cooler. I just can't put my voltages on 1.4 as that would just overheat my CPU lol. My motherboard is Z87 G45 Gaming motherboard, what I'm wondering is would I get better overclocks if I have a better Z97 motherboard? And if so, could you guys recommend me a good Z97 motherboard? Preferably below $200?

consider this: even if you could get better overclocks by spending that much money, would an extra 100-200mhz really be worth it for that amount? Haswell never really overclocked well to begin with. consider yourself lucky as my 4770k that i had would only hit 4.2ghz at 1.3v. like blackbird said, there's no way to guarantee if you're being held back by your board or your CPU. most likely, if anything, i'd wager the CPU is holding you back. don't waste your time and resources. aint worth it.
